We are the United Black Student Unions of California – a membership organization, comprised of 60+ Black Student Union school clubs across the State of California throughout three regions serving Northern, Central and Southern California. UBSUC inspires students towards leadership, entrepreneurship, and college readiness. We attain our organizational goals by directly involving students in leadership, growth and community development throughout the year. We focus on college readiness, financial preparedness entrepreneurship and civic responsibility. Our organization is run by a twenty-eight member Advisory Board that includes seven elected student officers. Over our 48 years, thousands of students, hundreds of advisors and 30 plus colleges and universities have been impacted by or partnered with United Black Student Unions of California. We are registered with the state as a non-profit 501C3. #C2008236. The UBSUC Gospel Jam Fundraiser is more than just a concert – it’s a celebration of faith, unity, and the power of gospel music to bring people together for a cause that resonates deeply within our community. This year’s Gospel Jam is focused on raising funds to support educational scholarships for students from underserved backgrounds. These scholarships provide financial assistance and encourage young people to pursue higher education, unlocking doors to opportunities that can shape their futures. As the cost of education continues to rise, many talented and deserving students face financial barriers that can hinder their ability to attend college or vocational school. UBSUC (United Black Student Unions of California) believes that every student should have a fair chance to achieve their dreams and reach their full potential. With the Gospel Jam Fundraiser, UBSUC seeks to bridge this gap, giving students in need the support they require to start or continue their educational journeys. Each ticket purchased, every donation made, and all contributions received will go directly towards scholarship funds for students in our community. These scholarships cover tuition, books, supplies, and other essential expenses, reducing the burden of educational costs and allowing recipients to focus on excelling in their studies. Join us for a night of joyful praise, community, and purpose, as we raise funds to make education accessible to more young people. Your support at the UBSUC Gospel Jam Fundraiser is an investment in their success, their future, and the lasting impact they will have on our world. Doors open at 5; show at 6 p.m. Tickets: $10 or $5 for children under 12
