3rd Annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes

There is an old saying: "You can't really understand another person's experience until you've walked a mile in their shoes." Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® events are a playful opportunity for men to raise awareness in their community about the serious causes, effects and remediation to men's violence against women. We are asking men to literally walk one mile in women's high-heeled shoes. It won't be easy but it's a great way to rally support in our community and raise awareness about sexual assault and domestic violence. Join us in Modesto on Saturday, April 16, 2015 for the 3rd Annual Haven Walk a Mile for Stanislaus County! the walk itself will start at the Stanislaus County Superior Court at 9:00 am; packet pickup and preparation will begin at 7:30.
