| The Modesto Junior College Theater Department presents “Aesop’s Falables” - a fun filled show suitable for the whole family, written by Ed Graczyk and directed by MJC Theatre Professor Lynette Borrelli-Glidewell. Performances are Fridays, March 31 and April 7 at 7 p.m., and Saturdays, April 1 and April 8 at 2 p.m. in the Main Auditorium of the Performing and Media Arts Center on East Campus, located at 435 College Avenue in Modesto. The Falables are loosely based on a collection of famous fables. Sir Wilfred Wolf claims he has been wrongfully stereotyped by Aesop as the bad guy...always the bad guy. Thus, the play strives to overturn those fables, drawing new morals from them and meeting a kooky bunch of animals along the way. The high energy performance provides an abundance of zany entertainment for the entire family. Tickets may be purchased at the Auditorium Box Office, Tuesday through Friday, 12 noon to 5 p.m. and 90 minutes prior to each performance, or by calling 575-6776 during these hours.
