| Aida Cuevas with Mariachi Juvenil Tecalitlán The “Queen of Ranchera Music,” Aida Cuevas, presents a mariachi spectacle paying tribute to her dearest friend and greatest mentor, Juan Gabriel. Performing her legendary friend’s biggest hits off of her new album Totalmente Juan Gabriel, Cuevas exhibits her stunning vocals on “Te Lo Pido Por Favor,” “Te Sigo Amando,” “La Diferencia,” among others. The concert features Cuevas’ Mexico City-based mariachi band, Mariachi Juvenil Tecalitlán, with special guest musicians on the requinto guitar, accordion, percussion and keys. Earlier this year Cuevas became the first female singer in the traditional mariachi genre to win a Grammy Award for Best Regional Mexican Music Album, Arrieros Somos (Versiones Acústicos)! |
