American Recycles Day presents: Landfill Harmonic
| (PG) 1 Hr. 24 Min. In celebration of America Recycles Day on Thurs. Nov. 15, 2018 the City of Modesto, in partnership with Stanislaus County, is presenting two FREE screenings of the documentary Landfill Harmonic, the documentary follows the Recycled Orchestra of Cateura, Paraguay, a musical group of kids who play instruments made entirely out of garbage. When their story goes viral, music director Favio Chavez and his group embark on a new adventure of arena performances and sold-out concerts. After a natural disaster strikes, Chavez must find a way to save the orchestra and provide a source of hope for the town. Doors open one hour prior to each screening. |
