The concert opens with a special side-by-side performance of the Prelude to Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg with members of our MSYO and concludes with Beethoven’s most energetic symphony he has ever written! The second movement of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 is recognizable in iconic films such as The King’s Speech, Mr. Holland’s Opus and Knowing.
