The night starts with a premiere from contemporary composer and Modesto Symphony Youth Orchestra alumnus, Andrew Norman. Llewellyn Sanchez-Werner, a 2014 Gilmore Young Artist award winner, heats things up as he takes to the piano for Gershwin’s ragtime themed Concerto in F. We wrap up the evening with Bernstein’s West Side Story depicting the urban retelling of Romeo and Juliet’s epic enduring love.
