| JASON PETTY: HANK AND MY HONKY TONK HEROES Jason Petty has made a striking impression on New York’s Theatre District, where he was hand-picked for and starred in “Hank Williams: Lost Highway.” He dazzled audiences and critics alike with an uncanny portrayal of the country legend and won an Obie award for Outstanding Actor. Now he is touring in “Hank and My Honky Tonk Heroes,” a musical revue that Petty himself wrote. The show takes audiences back in time to the very beginnings of country music and pays homage not only to Williams, but also to Jimmie Rodgers, Roy Acuff, Ernest Tubb, Webb Pierce ,George Jones and other giants of country music. |
