Singer-songwriter, guitarist, producer, actress, and author/poet Jewel will make her Gallo Center debut as she embarks on her national “Picking Up the Pieces” tour. The much honored artist, who has sold more than 27 million albums worldwide, is touring in support of what she describes as her first “proper” album of new studio material in five years and a self-described return to the territory explored on her landmark 1995 debut, “Pieces of You.” Over the course of the album, also titled “Picking Up the Pieces,” Jewel conveys the emotional turmoil of life during its most difficult and challenging moments.
