Doors at 7; show at 8 p.m. Livingston Taylor picked up his first guitar at the age of 13, recorded his first record at 18 and is still, after 40 years, performing, songwriting and teaching. Known for his well-crafted, introspective, and original songs, Livingston has earned avid listeners worldwide who know his lyrics from top-40 hits such as “I Will Be in Love with You,” “I’ll Come Running,” “I Can Dream of You” and “Boatman,” the latter two recorded by his brother James. Livingston’s repertoire ranges from folk, pop, gospel and jazz to upbeat storytelling and touching ballads. He’s never stopped performing since his early coffeehouse days, touring with major artists such as Linda Ronstadt, Jimmy Buffett and Jethro Tull, and he still maintains a busy concert schedule of over 80 shows a year.
