Opera Modesto Presents: Mansfield Park
Opera Modesto is proud ti present the US premier of the orchestrated version of the opera Mansfield based upon based upon Jane Austen's third and most controversial novel. Composed by Johnathan Dove with libretto by Alasdair Middleton, Mansfield park tells the story of Fanny Price. Sent away from her family at a young age to live with relatives, Fanny is a Cinderella-like heroine finding her place in the world.
