Ramón Ayala and his band blew the doors off of the Center last season, and popular demand is bringing them back. A superstar on both sides of the Rio Grande, a master accordionist, vocalist, and songwriter, Ayala has had an illustrious career spanning 50 years, essentially defining norteño music with signature songs and definitive instrumental styling. Along the way he virtually invented modern conjunto music. His many, many hits include “Un Rinconcito En El Cielo” and “Chaparra de Mi Amor.” Ayala will be joined in this performance by his son, Ramón Ayala, Jr.!
