Townsend Opera: 35th Anniversary Gala
| Townsend Opera Modesto kicks off its 35th consecutive season with an Opera Gala and grand celebration. The Gala will feature some of opera’s most memorable arias, performed by local and international opera singers, and will include performances by the company’s orchestra and chorus as well as a few surprises. In addition to providing an exciting preview of our upcoming spring production of Georges Bizet’s Carmen, the Gala will recognize the contributions of company founder, Erik Buck Townsend, and those who have supported opera and the performing arts in Modesto and the surrounding communities over the years. | |
