Front Office Coordinator

Location: Modesto, CA
Pay: $18 - $21 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM  Job Summary:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated and organized Front Office Coordinator to serve as the friendly voice and first point of contact for our team and clients in Modesto, CA. This role requires excellent communication skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to maintaining a smooth and efficient front office operation. Key Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming phone calls professionally and promptly.
• Make between 25 and 50 cold calls daily to potential clients or candidates.
• Assist with general administrative duties as needed.
• Support the staffing team by helping with candidate and client communications.
• Maintain a clean and organized front office area.
• Handle payroll processing duties once fully trained.

Qualifications:

• Payroll experience preferred, as the role will include payroll responsibilities after training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and stay organized.
• Professional demeanor and strict adherence to 8 AM – 5 PM work hours.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and team spirit.
• Ability to provide 3 professional references.
• Bilingual skills are a valuable asset for this role.

Attendance Expectations:
Reliable attendance helps keep our team running smoothly. After your first 90 days, we’ll review attendance based on these points:

1. No more than 3 unexcused absences during the period.
2. Punctuality is important — minimal tardiness or early departures.
3. If you need to call out or will be late, please call your supervisor by phone at least 2 hours before your shift — texts are not accepted.
